Coats Viyella, is the largest manufacturer of sewing thread in the world and has a unique global spread. Coats is renowned in the business to business sector for sewability, service and colour matching, and in the consumer sector for embroidery favourites like Anchor and craft brands such as Red Heart.

Coats is committed to research into and development of manufacturing processes. An example of this is the innovations in the understanding and application of colour physics which have led the way to developing exact electronic colour communications systems. These systems, developed in house, are more advanced than those available anywhere else.

Fashion Retail which incorporating branded clothing and is responsible for producing design-to-manufacture for a number of world famous brands including Jaeger, Viyella and Van Heusen. Jaeger is an international brand with retail stores in the UK, Europe, North & South America, the Far East including Japan and the Middle East. Viyella Ladieswear is a UK based retailer with over 150 outlets countrywide. The Van Heusen, Ladybird and Byford brands are widely licensed around the world by the International Licensing Division.

Contract Clothing is involved in designing and manufacturing clothing specifically for retailer, own label, such as Marks and Spencer, and has been operating in the U.K. and overseas factories. The High Street retailer trend toward overseas sourcing is continuing to be met by Contract Clothing as its international organisation is flexible to these kind of requirements.

Home Furnishings designs and manufactures household textiles under their own brand, Dorma, as well as for Marks and Spencer, Homes Direct 365, Laura Ashley and other High Street retailers. By negotiating original design opportunities (for instance, access to the V&A library), Home Furnishings has retained its market leading position.

Jack is our creative mind who leads our team of designers in our head office. Jacks designs feature in many of our products or at least his ideas that are then put into action by other members of the team.


Account Manager
If you have an account with us and we supply you with any of our products you have most likely spoken to Alicia who handles many of our major clients accounts. A polite hardworking lady with a great customer service record.


Business Development
Responsible for acquiring new accounts Timothy spends his days liaising with purchasers within the worlds leading brands and has a knack for hatching new deals that reduce companies spend whilst increasing our profits
